FEES
We do not charge a fee to place ads on the Artist Pianos Houston or Organs Houston websites.
If you sell your instrument as a direct result of referrals through KeyArts, then there is a fee which
can range from 3% to 5% depending on the involvement of KeyArts
in the sale and additional services.
For simple referrals through and queries to the website, there is a 3% fee due if the instrument
sells. Since we base our business on honesty and integrity, we ask that you honor your
agreement for payment of this fee. There is no fee if we do not sell your piano or organ.
In certain cases there may be no fee associated with a sale. We attempt to sell at your listing price
and may include an additional amount for this fee in the selling price.
Pianos and organs are subject to negotiation and may sell at less than the posted price in any
case. There may be conditions where no fee is charged, especially if the item is sold in the
Houston market. Buyers may require certain local services if the piano or organ is purchased in
the area. These services may include shipping, tuning, crating, cleaning, and technical work,
installation et al. These services may take the place of any selling fees.
The fee should be paid within 5 days of the sale of the piano. The fee can be paid via
credit card or pay-pal. You can make a credit card or pay-pal payment by clicking on the Make

All purchases are between buyers and sellers of instruments. KeyArtsHouston does not involve in
the actual purchase on a regular basis. Only if we are asked by a buyer or seller to handle
transactions will we involve in actual negotiations. This is rare but is sometimes necessary
especially in the case of organs.
The purposes of our websites are to list pianos and organs as a convenience to buyers and
sellers. This is the same procedure that we use on our home website. Essentially, your
instrument is a “consignment – brokerage” item for sale. We only provide a bulletin board for your
sale items.
Advantages of Artist Pianos Houston and Organs Houston are personal attention and intelligent
conversations with buyers to determine if there is genuine interest and a reasonable possibility of
reaching your target price. The final decision is always left to the owner and buyer. Our list will
rarely exceed 50 items and are limited to instruments that we feel are saleable and that rank in
quality in the top 10 performance category.
THE FOLLOWING IS REQUIRED FOR SUBMISSION:
1. Please send information about your instrument: Serial Numbers, Model, Make, History, other
2. Send hi-res digital images. Photo prints can be used but will result in lower quality images.
3. Complete contact information. Including your statement that you are the legal owner of the
instrument(s).
